WOW! colourful indeed. love the colour combinations. how have you created that intense purple pink?
In the under painting it started with cadmium red and alizarin but as I built it up I used some cobalt violet and also bought magenta for a greater intensity so I think the brightest purples are violet, magenta and white mixed, from what I can remember, maybe with some alizarin!

There are some new pigments especially in acrylics which really have a wow factor and can be totally OTT but when added in small amounts can really lift some colours. With regard to the big painting, I’m still not entirely happy with it and have softened some of the blues in the sea.
